Vegetables
Leafy greens. High in Vitamins A, C and calcium and a good source of fibre, these are best eaten raw. Try spinach, swiss chard, rocket and mustard greens mixed into salads.
Cruciferous vegetables. These include broccoli, kale and rocket and they’re packed with vitamin C, beta-carotene and potassium, which are essential for skin health.
Garlic. Not only does it have strong anti-ageing properties, it's also a powerful antibacterial too.
Carrots. Or any red-orange vegetable - sweet potato is another good source. They’re all rich in betacarotene which converts to the active form of vitamin A, helping help repair skin cells.
