Fruit and nuts
Brazil nuts. Just one or two are all that’s needed for your daily dose of selenium - a trace mineral which can help fight skin infections and neutralize free radical damage.
Bananas. A portable energy source for the skin. An excellent source of vitamin B6 and rich in potassium which is essential for skin elasticity.
Berries. Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries are all supercharged with collagen-boosting vitamins C and E as well as protective polyphenols known as "flavonoids".
Tomatoes. One medium tomato provides 20% RDA of Vitamin A which plays an active role in skin cell renewal and repair. When cooked with oil, tomatoes are an excellent source of the anti-oxidant lycopene as well. The really good news is that ketchup is a good source too!
